Every piece crafted by Blind Edge Woodworking is a unique work of art, made in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. The wood is sourced locally, selected for its grain, structure, and tactile character. Natural features — live edges, knots, and voids — are preserved as beauty marks, not flaws. No templates, no duplication. Each piece is one of a kind, shaped by the material itself.

Commissions
Limited annual output. Up to 12-week turnaround. Size, species, and finish discussed per project.
Process
How It Works
Limited annual output. Once the yearly consignment limit is reached, no more orders until the following year. Commissions are tailored to the material and your preferences where possible.
Output is limited each year. Once the annual consignment limit is reached, no new orders are accepted until the following year.
Up to 12-week turnaround. A 50% deposit is required before work begins.
Size, wood species, and finish preferences can be accommodated to a degree. We do not match existing furniture or take custom factory-style orders. Each piece is one of a kind.

Randy has been blind since early adulthood. He works by touch, sound, and physical intuition — evaluating edges, transitions, and surfaces the way furniture is ultimately experienced: through contact. Every surface is finished until it feels perfectly smooth beneath the hands.
